Short answer: AdsPower sells static ISP proxies inside the app, supplied by FlashIP. For a US IP, AdsPower's price is lower than NanoIP's, but paying by card adds a fee of 5% plus a fixed amount per order, and the IP comes with 5 Mbps, no UDP and SOCKS5 only. A NanoIP ISP IP costs a little more and includes four times the bandwidth, UDP, and HTTP and SOCKS5 at the same time, and it works in AdsPower like any other proxy.
What AdsPower sells inside the app
AdsPower is a fingerprint browser: each profile keeps its own cookies, fingerprint settings and proxy. Its Proxies section also sells proxies, so you can buy an IP and assign it to a profile without leaving the app. The proxies are supplied by FlashIP, whose name and website appear on the order page.
This post compares static ISP proxies, the type used for profiles you open again and again. AdsPower's order page offers them for 30, 90, 180 or 360 days, with discounts on the longer plans and optional auto-renewal from the team wallet. Rotating residential proxies are left out: their price on the order page is marked as a limited-time offer, and this comparison uses list prices only.
A US static ISP IP compared
| ISP IP: United States, 30 days | NanoIP | AdsPower | NanoIP vs AdsPower |
|---|---|---|---|
| IP type | Native ISP IP | Not stated | |
| Price per IP | $10.20 | $7.99 | 28% more |
| Payment fee | None | +$1.395% + $1.00 per order | |
| Paid at checkout | $10.20 | $9.38 | 9% more |
| Bandwidth | 20 Mbps included | 5 Mbps by defaultNo upgrade offered | |
| UDP | Included | Not supported | |
| Protocols | HTTP and SOCKS5 | SOCKS5 only |
AdsPower's price per IP is lower. The card fee narrows the gap, most of all on small orders, because its fixed part is charged once per order. The bigger difference is in what each IP includes.
Bandwidth: 5 Mbps against 20 Mbps
AdsPower's static ISP IP runs at 5 Mbps, with no upgrade on offer. Every NanoIP ISP IP includes 20 Mbps, and NanoIP adds no throttling on top. 5 Mbps is enough for dashboards and text pages in one tab. It slows down profiles that upload product images and videos, play video or keep several tabs busy: a 50 MB upload takes at least 80 seconds at 5 Mbps, and about 20 seconds at 20 Mbps.
UDP
AdsPower's in-app static ISP proxies do not support UDP. Voice and video calls, online games and HTTP/3 use UDP, so with these proxies that traffic cannot go through the IP at all. NanoIP supports UDP over SOCKS5 in every location at no extra cost: apps that relay UDP through SOCKS5 keep it on the same IP as the rest of the session.
Protocols
AdsPower's own guide says static proxies bought in the app use SOCKS5. That works inside AdsPower. A NanoIP IP accepts HTTP and SOCKS5 at the same time, with the same username and password, so the same IP also works in scripts and tools that only take HTTP proxies. The ISP proxy buying guide explains bandwidth, UDP and protocol limits in more detail.
Payment fee
On AdsPower's order page, paying by card adds 5% of the order plus a fixed fee per order; the amounts are in the table above. NanoIP charges the listed price with no payment fee, and accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, UnionPay and Alipay.
Using NanoIP proxies in AdsPower
You do not have to buy proxies in AdsPower to use them there. AdsPower accepts custom proxies: add a NanoIP IP to a profile as an HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy, with the host, port, username and password from the NanoIP dashboard. The AdsPower integration guide shows each step with screenshots. Give each profile its own IP, as in any account management setup, and see ISP proxies for the available countries.
When AdsPower's built-in proxies are the better choice
- You want to buy, renew and assign proxies in one place, paid from the AdsPower team wallet.
- You want to pay with PayPal or cryptocurrency; NanoIP accepts cards and Alipay.
- Your profiles only open dashboards and text pages, and the lowest price per IP matters more to you than bandwidth, UDP or HTTP support.
- You want a 90-day plan; NanoIP sells 30, 180 and 360 days.
When NanoIP is the better choice
- Your profiles upload media, play video or keep several tabs busy: 20 Mbps instead of 5.
- You need UDP for calls, games or other apps on the same IP.
- You also use the IPs in tools that need an HTTP proxy.
- You want a native ISP IP: every NanoIP ISP IP is native, while AdsPower does not state the IP type.
- You do not want a payment fee on top of the price.
How we compared
- AdsPower: the US static ISP price, card fee and plan lengths from the Proxies order page inside AdsPower; the protocol from AdsPower's guide to buying proxies in the app; bandwidth and UDP support as checked by the NanoIP team on the same date. FlashIP's own pricing page lists the same US rate. The check date is under the table.
- NanoIP: current list prices from the NanoIP pricing page, which the table reads automatically. NanoIP's US prices vary by location; the table uses the lowest, as it does for AdsPower.
- Coupons and promotions are excluded for both. Prices change, so check both before you buy.
